Hawai‘i Students to Get A Head Start in Their Career While Still in High School

Living808 visited Waimea High School (WHS) to speak with Darren Arimoto about its Early College Program, a partnership with Kaua‘i Community College. Mikey Moniz, host of Living808, also spoke with students of the program to talk about why they chose to participate. Moniz also has the opportunity to speak with Eliam Ornellas, who planned to join the Hawai‘i Air National Guard and receive training to work with PMRF on radar maintenance and repairs.

Moses Kaoiwi, Owner and President of INDO-PAC Strategic Consulting LLC, and Krysten Gennuso, Linux Application Programmer at Alakaʻina Foundation joined John Veneri, host of Living808, in-studio. Educator Externship: U.S. Army Pacific

P3I and the Military Affairs Council of the Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i hosted an externship for local educators learn about the career opportunities within U.S. Army Pacific. The externship highlighted the benefits of having talented local civilians trained in technology skill sets working alongside service members on O‘ahu.
