Educator Externship – Naval Warfare Information Center

On July 6, 2023, P3I and 23 teachers, counselors, district resource teachers and state education specialists representing eight high schools on Oahu, Kauaʻi and Hawaiʻi island visited the Naval Warfare Information Center (NIWC). Teachers/counselors toured its facilities and learned about the opportunities NIWC offers through its internship program, the skills required, and the invaluable experiences NIWC employees have gained. Through these externships, P3I connects its academic partners with DoD employers with internships to ready prepare students for opportunities readily available here in Hawai‘i.
