P3I hosted its Intern Meet & Greet at the USS Bowfin on June 17, 2024! Students beginning their internships in the summer, had the opportunity to network with other students and representatives leading their program.

Jason Chung and Tim Faulkner of P3I attended the Dept. of Defense Employer Meet & Greet hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i on Wednesday, May 1 at Honolulu Community College. Jason and Tim shared an overview of P3I and the many DoD opportunities available here in Hawai‘i.

Hawaii Students to Get A Head Start in Their Career While Still in High School

Living808 visited Waimea High School (WHS) to speak with Darren Arimoto about its Early College Program, a partnership with Kaua‘i Community College. Mikey Moniz, host of Living808, also spoke with students of the program to talk about why they chose to participate. Moniz also has the opportunity to speak with Eliam Ornellas, who planned to join the Hawai‘i Air National Guard and receive training to work with PMRF on radar maintenance and repairs.

Bridging Military Service to Civilian Careers

Moses Kaoiwi, Owner and President of INDO-PAC Strategic Consulting LLC, and Krysten Gennuso, Linux Application Programmer at Alakaʻina Foundation joined John Veneri, host of Living808, in-studio. Kaoiwi shared the importance of P3I and how it assists military personnel in finding careers after their service.
