Summer 2024 Intern Showcase

The Hawaii Defense Alliance and the Pacific Intelligence & Innovation Initiative co-sponsored this year’s Summer Intern Showcases held on July 31 and Aug. 7, 2024. In its third year, the Intern Showcase aims to highlight the hardwork, skill and talent of local students pursuing a career in the defense sector. Keynote speakers included Julie Weinstein, Command Information Officer of NAVFAC Hawaii, CAPT Brian Schulz, Commander of NSA, and Visiting Professor Mark Nelson, who shared their path into their current role and insight to what it’s like to work within and succeed in a career with the Dept. of Defense.
