Summer 2024 IT High School Students: Field Trip to Marine Corps Base Hawaii
High school students from the P3I IT courses at UHM and WCC this summer visited Marine Corps Base Hawaii to learn about life and work “inside the fence” on a military base for active-duty and civilian personnel and contractors.
Educator Externship: Naval Intelligence Warfare Center 2024
Educators attended a half-day trip to the Naval Warfare Information Center on July 11, 2024. During their visit, educators visited the different sectors of the organization including their drone and war games department.
The Pacific Intelligence and Innovation Initiative (P3I) is managed by the Hawaii Defense Alliance and supported by Hawaiʻi congressional delegates. This program is funded through the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering OUSD(R&E).
