VICEROY MAVEN, Powered by P3I, Internship Program

Summer 2025: June 16 through July 31, 2025

VICEROY MAVEN, Powered by P3I, is an immersive, intensive, in person 7-week internship program for college undergraduate (current juniors and seniors) and graduate students from June 16 through July 31, 2025.

Participants will work in teams to solve a complex, mission-critical problem with a military command on O‘ahu. Each team will be assigned a Command Mentor and P3I Advisor.

Participants will also engage in cohort activities, including visits to other military commands.

The internship will conclude with a formal out brief of its analysis, assessment, and recommendations to military and civilian senior leaders.

Program Requirements

Participants must:

  1. Be enrolled in a university as a undergraduate junior or senior or graduate program when applying
  2. Be able to obtain a security clearance
  3. Must have transportation to access the worksite on an O‘ahu military base, and work in person on Oahu for the entire internship period:  June 16  through July 31, 2025.

Application Instructions

The VICEROY MAVEN, Powered by P3I, application will take 25 – 35 minutes to complete online. Please use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Prepare the following information and files in advance for inclusion in your application:

  1. University Reference contact information (name, email, phone). P3I will email your reference for insight about your technical, communication, and leadership skills. Your reference will need to respond within seven (7) calendar days. Please be thoughtful about the reference you provide.
  2. Personal Statement (1 page maximum). Your personal statement should provide information about yourself and how participating in the VICEROY MAVEN, Powered by P3I, internship will help you achieve your goals.
  3. Resume (file name: “First Name_Last Name_MI_RESUME.pdf”)
  4. University Transcript from your current university. An unofficial transcript is acceptable. (file name: “First Name_Last Name_MI_TRANSCRIPT.pdf”)

Applicants will be contacted in February 2025.
Selection Process
  1. Candidate completes and submits the application on time.
  2. Reference check. Your reference will be contacted by email. Your reference must respond by the deadline (7 calendar days after your application is submitted).
  3. P3I may contact you for additional information or an interview(s) in February or March 2025.
  4. Selected candidates will be provided a conditional offer letter in March 2025.
  5. Upon acceptance, the Security Clearance process will be initiated. Virtual team meetings will be held to introduce the project problem statement and set expectations for the internship.
  6. Upon successful completion of the Security Clearance, a final offer letter will be provided.
